Yes, today the artist is myself, and I can interview myself. I said, this is another in the San Francisco Cable Car series that begins as a digital image using Photoshop, PostworkShop, and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. The image is printed on a high end pigment ink printer to a transparency material and using a combination of self-taught image transfer processes, I transfer the print or prints using a brayer and an alcohol mixture to printmaking paper or canvas. I work on the image from there with traditional paints: acrylic, oils, and watercolor.
